Ben Grime

Ben Grime earned his B.A. in Marine Biology from Occidental College in 2013, and his M.S. in Marine Biology from Cal Poly Pomona in 2021. His Master’s research was focused on urchin gonad response to kelp forest restoration on the Palos Verdes Peninsula. Ben previously worked as a research technician for the Vantuna Research Group, Channel Islands National Park, and the Southern California Marine Institute. Ben has been with TBF since 2016, his first role as lead for our abalone mariculture facility. In his spare time, he enjoys playing soccer and walking his dog, Leo.
